What Does this blood Test Result Mean?

just had blood work done for life insurance. Everything was normal and perfect except to 2 tests. AST 194 ( range 0 to 45) ALT 80 ( 0 to 45) Gamma 19 normal range all Hepatitis negative. I dont drink alcohol and really dont eat high fat food. I weigh 110 pound women . I am reading up about other less common diagnosis: Could it be gluten sensitivities? or something related to autoimmune? or something with my tissue cells? how can i research less popular diagnosis that go along with these blood tests? i do take alot of magnesium for constipation? and do get yeast infections and vaginal bacteria infections alot? anything to do with that? i actually do feel inflammation in my muscle tissues? like i worked out what kind of doctor would i see?

Hi

AST is less liver specific than is ALT level. Elevations of the AST level may also be seen in acute injury to cardiac or skeletal muscle. Lesser degrees of ALT level elevation may occasionally be seen in skeletal muscle injury or even after vigorous exercise. Thus in clinical practice, it is not uncommon to see elevations of AST, ALT or both in common non-hepatic conditions such as myocardial infarction and rhabdomyolysis.

So non hepatic causes of AST elevation should be ruled out.The test can also be repeated after few weeks for further assessment.

Hope that was helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.

Regards
